Marieke Urlings
My name is Marieke Urlings. Now age of 25. Living in the Netherlands.
Photographing started in 2015 when I wanted to have nice pictures of my miniature model horses. I started to photograph real horses in 2017, then I really started my photographing career.
In the beginning I used my moms old digital SLR camera. In 2019 I bought my own camera, the system camera Sony A6000 with the starter lenses. After awhile I upgraded the camera with the 70-200mm lense.
In 2022 I made the upgrade to the Sony 7R system camera.
Now I have a lot of experience with the settings and photographing animals. My most important rule during my photoshoots is that the animals and the owners are happy, relaxed and being themselves.
I always take time to make you and your animal comfortable. When the pictures are all done and send, you have an amazing memory!

In 2021 I became friends with some experienced landscape photographers. I traveled to amazing places such as The Dolomites and Iceland and learned a lot about landscape photography! Ofcourse I got some new lenses for that purpose.
Since 2023 I am official member of the Equine-art collective ‘Paard Verzameld’. This collective challenges my artistic qualitys and brings me new inspiration for my photography-art. Some of the results are shown at my portfolio-pages.
